7 Mar 2006
- An internet service outage took the site down from roughly 13:00 to
13:45 EST.
15 Feb 2006
- Some site navigation updates have been made, hopefully making things a
bit more organized.
- Also, the forums are now embedded in the site, don't open in a new window, and
follow the same basic theme/style of the site.
9 Feb 2006
- TradeWars game server has been moved to my personal
site. For a couple weeks or so, it will still run from the old
address as well, but you should update your Telnet / game clients.
1 Feb 2006
- I have added forums to the site. You can now discuss public
applications, request support, etc.
25 Jan 2006
- The web server has been upgraded, as well as the scripts that handle
automatic generation of program information (Latest version, documentation
and download links, etc). The scripts are now .NET. This went flawlessly,
but an internet connection outage kept the site down all night.
24 Jan 2006
- New support contact option: You can use Jabber/XMPP (or GoogleTalk) to
reach us via the ID .
22 Jan 2006
- Due to customer requests, NinjaTimer will be ported to the .NET Compact
Framework for Windows Mobile 2003 devices, and the price will remain the
same.
A few suggestions by users will also be implemented at this time. For a
list of these changes, see the project
page.
Of course, existing customers of Ninja Timer will be entitled to a free
upgrade.
31 Dec 2005
- Well, what better time to switch to a new mail server machine, IP
address, and software than New Years Eve, on a weekend where there won't
be a single (sober) tech support person to be found in case of disaster?
Everything seems to have gone smoothly.
18 Dec 2005
- The initial version of SuDoku is
now available!
15 Dec 2005
- Email server was down for several hours this morning, but is back up and
running now.
15 Sep 2005
- Currently developing a few graphical ActiveX controls for a separate
project, which will include a Distribution Graph, Strip Chart, and a few
others. These will be available once the otherproject is complete.

1 Jan 2005
- As mentioned some time ago, TWEdit
is going to be open-sourced. Expect the full package to be available
within the next week - executable and installer, as well as the source
code.
12-2-2004
- We're back to normal now, on the primary server.
11-2-2004
- The Blue Ninja Software site will be partially inoperative until
mid-December, as the site is now temporarily hosted on a machine that does
not support all the custom extensions to link to the projects. The
development PC that typically runs the server (and thus automatically
delivers the latest downloads and documentation) is being used to do
development work on a few special projects in Australia, and is located
behind a firewall which prevents it from serving directly.
We apologize for any inconvenience - any questions or needs, contact
us.
10-1-2004
- Several notable changes coming over the next week or two. As you can
probably tell by the recent frequency (or lack thereof) of news updates on
my public projects, I've been busy on a bunch of private projects. But I
will be squeezing an hour or two here and there to do the following:
- Cleaning up the site to remove outdated info.
- Making several of my projects open-source, such as the web
server and TWEdit.
1-29-2004
- NinjaTimer has been
submitted to TUCOWS, and a link will
be made available when it's reviewed and accepted.
1-19-2004
- I've finally fulfilled a long-time promise to a long-time friend of mine
and set up a TradeWars game server. Details here.
Also, I've re-packaged TWEdit, and updated the old beta expiration date.
1-14-2004
- All PocketPC Apps will now also be featured on Pocket
PC City, though they do not provide direct purchasing and registration
capabilities.
1-6-2004
- Ninja Timer (and future PocketPC apps) now also available on PocketGear
as well.
1-4-2004
- The latest version (1.5 Build 4) of Ninja
Timer (Formerly just Timer) has been posted on the Handango site. It
now enables full use of all features for a 30-day trial period, rather
than only some features. It also has a bug fix, and a few internal
changes.
-
10-30-2003
- Latest project: The as-yet-unnamed project codename "KIT"
(Keep In Touch) is well underway. Unlike most of the utilities on here
written specifically for myself and then made available to others, this
will be one of the applications designed specifically for wide use. See
it's link for details...
10-2-2003
- Finally got around to updating the ProjectViewer plugin to this
webserver. ProjectViewer is the handy plugin that dynamically generates
all of the pages of this site pertaining to specific projects. It shows
the title, description, any optional comments, development and release
versions, and provides links to online documentation (if available) and
the download .zip file (if available).
Also threw a simple navigation tree over on the left side, so everything
is always one click away. "F" for style, perhaps, but
"A" for efficiency! :-)
9-5-2003
- Redesigning site layout, updating projects, etc. I sure wish I was a web
designer.
Also adding several new projects, and posting several old ones. A new GUI
for the Shredder library (now packaged separately or with the GUI
interface) will be posted soon also, with better Recycle Bin support and a
nicer interface.
7-19-2003
- XM Assistant is being sent to XM for evaluation. Further details soon...
7-9-2003
- XM Assistant is nearly complete, including documentation. The details
are no longer available for general viewing on this site, since it has
come to my attention that it may reveal proprietary information.
-
6-18-2003
- Many changes and enhancements are being implemented in XM Assistant,
including automatic PMI processing and a better (I think) organized
display readout system.
-
- 6-11-2003
-
I have posted more information on XM
Assistant, a helpful tool for XM repeater service technicians.
-
The latest builds of MailServer and WebServer
have been posted, primarily for client evaluation. They're still in Beta
testing, but feel free to try them and give me any feedback.
