NOTE: The screen shots and other technical details for XM
Assistant have been moved to a secure area, as it has come to my attention
that they may reveal proprietary information. More details will be re-posted
shortly after a determination is made regarding what information is too
sensitive and which can be made available.
XM Assistant is currently being evaluated by XM Radio. Documentation and details on this website are
nearly complete, and will be made available pending approval from XM.
The distribution channel for XM Assistant is not yet certain. I'm attempting
to sell it directly to XM Radio or their support contractor to be standard-issue for all technicians. But if
that doesn't happen, it will be available here for download once I can develop a
secure method of ensuring it can only be used by authorized technicians (see
below). I expect to distribute a free basic version, and purchase
of a registration code would enable full features and support.

XM Assistant is a utility for XM Radio Terrestrial Repeater maintenance
technicians. It is more user friendly and provides more features than the
existing software used by technicians.
XM Assistant is modularly designed, and is based upon the XM
RepeaterIF object library I developed, and the XM RepeaterIF GUI library
of ActiveX controls.
To ensure that only authorized technicians obtain XM Assistant, I expect to
confirm contractor status with XM's service provider, and ship XM Assistant to
that address.
Further details will be made available again pending approval from XM.
