Overview

Originally developed as a game for my son, I enhanced it by allowing various board sizes and colorizing the regions. I also wrote the GUI separate from the underlying game class, making it a component that can easily be used to create a custom GUI.

Future enhancements include:

• Fully customizable game layouts and regions, including the ability to add-on new game DLLs or load game layout files.
• Ability to show the solution to the puzzle.
• Hints for valid moves.
• While this application is multi-language ready and uses a language resource file, only English is included, and the Language menu is hidden. However, adding a new language DLL will cause the menu to appear.
• Help files and instuructions.

Known Issues

This is the first public release, so there may be some quirks on different system configurations - if you notice any, please let me know.

Currently known issues:

• It is possible that an unsolvable puzzle might be generated - I'm still confirming this, and evaluating a few possible solutions.
• The installer only installs the VB runtimes and the application. It's possible that some other needed files that are assumed to be part of Windows might not be, and may have to be included.
